CTE Got Talent comes back; Soc Stud triumphs

Social Studies' Bulwag ng Bayan emerged as the CTE Got Talent Season 7 Champion after showing a strong stand against the government's falsehood and the faces and phases of politics through a theatrical performance on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

After a 4-year hiatus due to the pandemic, CTE Got Talent returned this year, igniting the stage of the ASU Amphitheater once again with the students' artful performances.

Portraying the importance of mental health, the English sub-organization fell short of extending their win streak after placing 2nd this season.

BEEd, however, ranked 3rd after depicting the cruciality of human rights and highlighting the freedom of the LGBTQ community.

Different social issues were also presented into a theatrical performance by Science's Quantum Pioneers, STEP's Primavera, and Mathematics' Waste Wise Wizards, placing them 4th, 5th, and 6th, respectively.

This year's theme "Cadence and Cause: A Symphony of Talents for an Inclusive and Sustainable World" depicts environmental sustainability, gender inclusivity, and health awareness.

The said event was spearheaded by the Young Educators' Society, the main organization of the College of Teacher Education.
