To establish bonds and hone their skills, the Young Educators' Society (YES), the official student organization of the College of Teachers Education (CTE) held a three-day event on April 12-14, 2023 at the Aklan State University, Campus Ground.
“Education is a lifelong process that extends beyond the four walls of the classroom to the application of acquired knowledge in real life," said Ray Jenil N. Limbaña, YES President in his opening remarks.
The event was in line with the theme, “Sustaining Quest for Excellence in Teacher Education in the New Normal and Beyond.”
The first day consisted of contests such as; PiYESta sa Booth, Lesson Plan Making Contest, and Quiz Bowl. Furthermore, Rocky L. Inawasan and Gladwin N. Dela Cruz, Resource Speakers, talked about the Development of Instructional Materials in the 21st Century and The Pedagogical Approach on the second day.
Moreover, a dance competition led by the Magisters Dance Company with the different sub-organization representatives of YES was held on the last day.
