Likhang Kamay: Art Exhibit wows ASUians

BANGA, Aklan—The boundary of the canvases couldn't limit the students' creativity as they showcased their paintings during the Art Exhibition entitled "LIKHANG-KAMAY: Painting Emotions through Art Exploration," at the Aklan State University-Human Resource Building from October 16 to 23, 2023.

Students from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Level 2, Bachelor of Science in Biology 1, and Bachelor of Arts in English and Language Studies 1 displayed their works in compliance to their requirements in the Arts Appreciation (CAA) course.

"It is fascinating to see those "gawa" out of their diverse and unique imagination and perception of reality," said AJ Salido, BS Biology 1.

Moreover, Christine Mae Igcasenza, BS Biology 1, said it feels really good to see a lot of students rating her work which was displayed up-front.

The week-long art exhibit was initiated by Prof. James L. Villanueva and Dr. Maria Imelda P. Nabor, both instructors of the said course.
