BSED English Students' Paper qualifies for International Journal

Six (6) BSEd English students' research paper, "Tiktok and Grammar Skills in English: Perspectives of English Major Students" of ASU-Banga, was featured in the November 2022 online issue of the International Journal of Multidisciplinary: Applied Business and Education Research (IJMABER).

The six BSEd English majors were: Nicole Revesencio, Luzlyn Dominguez, Clint Hector Ibea, Rodemie Alonsagay, Mesty Mae Montaño, and Donna Mae Hormillosa.


"Life is full of unexpected surprises. We, CTEians who represented in the international journal with the help of our mentor Sir Ersyl Biray, are truly blessed to have this award that made us feel proud, overwhelmed, and delighted for we not just bringing our names but the pride of our beloved Aklan State University," said Donna Mae Hormillosa, BSEd English 4-A student.


The objective of the said research paper was to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of watching Tiktok to the English grammar skills development of college education students specializing in English at a state university in Western Visayas.

The corresponding author of the said paper and the mentor of the BSEd students was Dr. Ersyl T. Biray.
