The Aklan State University - Kalibo Campus represented by Jeriah Borreros, emerged as champion in the 27th Philippine Statistics Quiz Regional Championship held at Gold Function Room, District 21 Hotel, Iloilo City on November 10, 2023.
Ms. Borreros is a Civil Engineering student at ASU Kalibo, and the Junior News Editor of Aklan Tradesman Publication, the official publication of ASU Kalibo.
The two representatives were coached by Engr. Joel Molas and Engr. Boysie Tejada—both engineers from their department.
Moreso, Ms. Borreros will be representing Region 6 at the National Level.
The said quiz was joined by different colleges all over Region 6.
