ASU GCSO holds Students’ Convocation and General Orientation ’23

To boost the spiritual development and to introduce the officials, nature, and policies of the institution, the Guidance and Counseling Services Office (GCSO) conducted the New Students’ Convocation and General Orientation at ASU Amphitheater on August 30, 2023.

“Sometimes we overlook sins and these sins lead us to miseries in life. And we should remember that the Holy Spirit comes directly from our God and the Holy Spirit will never lead us to sin or errors”, said Rev. Fr. Eubert Sarabia, Member Parish Team Ministry of St. Joseph Parish Banga, during the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

The said event is in line with the theme, “Moving on to Better Opportunities and Brighter Tomorrow”.

“Our life is like a cup, what you pour is what I will drink. We need to recognize the value of failure and let ourselves gain an opportunity for growth. Better opportunities open, all we just need is to practice self-compassion, reinforce our confidence, and reach out and seek guidance, said Rev. Fr. Glenn Magpusao, Commission Director for Youth, Diocese of Kalibo during the Students’ Convocation Talk.

Ms. Lovella Chris L. Palma, Admin Aide VI, officially presented the University Officials of ASU - Banga Campus.

Moreover, the Acknowledgment of Office Personnel per Unit was announced by Ms. Sally R. Villasis, Admin Officer V (HRMO III).
