To celebrate its 105th founding anniversary of the university, the Aklan State University-Banga Campus held a Campiestahan sa Unibersidad with the theme "Empowering One ASU: An Adversity-Resilient and Sustainable University", on Monday, April 3, 2023.
Students, faculty, and employees from different departments gathered together wearing their departmental shirts to participate in the said event.
"The ASU has evidently become an adversity-resilient and sustainable university," said Dr. Michael T. Ibisate, Campus Director.
He added that with camaraderie, cooperation, and collaboration the university will be able to achieve more.
Meanwhile, simultaneous activities like Laro ng Lahi, Amazing Race, Open Mic Stage, Random Dance, and Booth were prepared for students by different organizations, headed by the University Student Council.
Other campuses from Kalibo, Ibajay, Makato, and New Washington also held a 1-day event in celebration of the said anniversary.
