Instructors from different programs look for relevant reading materials to use in their classes as the University Library opens book fair in ASU-Banga on Wednesday.
BANGA, Aklan — The University Library of Aklan State University-Main Campus kicked off its first day of 'BOOK FAIR' on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
"We wanted to encourage our faculty and stakeholders to select relevant materials that they need for the courses they've offered for our university, as well as, all throughout the five (5) campuses, and to also address the need for additional references for our students," Bliss Roldan, College Librarian II said.
The invited bookshops across regions, namely, Forefront from Quezon City, Manila, Megatext Phil., Inc. from Cebu, D’ Tops Bookstore and Pot Trading from Iloilo City, offered multiple categories of reading resources.
The University Library advised that books and other materials selected will undergo the usual government procurement process and are subject to the availability of funds of the respective campuses.
The said activity will run until February 24 from 9 AM to 4 PM.
